Belinelli played his previous two seasons with the New Orleans Hornets and averaged 11.8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in the 2011-12 NBA season. The 26-year-old veteran hails from Bologna, Italy, and will likely fill in the three-point shooting bench role vacated following the SG Kyle Korver trade.
The 23-year-old Thomas, meanwhile, appeared in three games for the San Antonio Spurs in the 2011-12 season, and also played in 25 NBA Development League games across three different teams. He averaged 15.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per 36 minutes in the D-League.
