On Monday afternoon, the Chicago Bulls officially announced the trade of shooting guard Kyle Korver to the Atlanta Hawks. In exchange, the Bulls will receive a $5 million trade exception.
Finally some closure: Korver goes straight to ATL for cash. So the Bulls get $5 mil trade exception.

Korver, who spent two seasons in Chicago, averaged 8.1 points and 2.4 rebounds for the Bulls during the 2011-12 season. In a radio interview last Friday, Korver expressed his disappointment over the deal:
"It's a bit of a bummer for sure," Korver told ESPN 1000's "Chicago's GameNight" on Friday. "I love Chicago. I loved putting on a Bulls uniform. ... What do you do? We learned this is a business and teams are going to make business decisions. I'm gonna go to Atlanta and try and go out there and play well."
