Mayo has spent the first four seasons of his NBA career with the Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 16.7 points per 36 minutes. In the 2011-12 NBA season, he sported a career-high 14.72 player efficiency rating as a 24-year-old.
The Bulls currently have SG Richard Hamilton as their starting shooting guard, but injuries limited him to just 28 games and a career-low 697 minutes.
