Brooklyn Nets forward Gerald Green is expected to be on his way out of New York, as his explosion back into the NBA likely drove his price too far above what the maxed-out Nets are able to pay a mere rotation player. That will make him a valuable commodity on the open market, and Wednesday brought word that the Indiana Pacers are preparing to offer the swingman a three-year contract worth a total of $10 million.

The Bulls met with Green over the weekend, but it doesn't appear as if Chicago made an offer, or at least not a serious one. But as a former first round pick who had a scorching hot month to end the 2011-2012 season, it's highly unlikely that the budget conscious Bulls will be able to find a way to make it work.
