With free agency set to begin on July 1, the Chicago Bulls face some crucial decisions heading forward. The main decision will be with Omer Asik, who is a restricted free agent and will likely command a significant raise following another productive season.

Despite averaging just 3.1 ppg and 5.3 rpg, Asik has a reputation as a valuable defender and often found himself on the court in crunch time for the Bulls. Playing behind Joakim Noah, Asik hasn't really got the chance to shine, but with his ability to run the court and impact the game defensively, he certainly has all the characteristics of a coveted big man.

The Bulls also have Mike James, John Lucas III and Brian Scalabrine as unrestricted free agents. With the selection of Marquis Teague in the NBA draft, both James and Lucas III could be expendable.
