2012 NBA Draft: Bulls GM Gar Forman Talks Marquis Teague After Draft

The Chicago Bulls nabbed Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague with the 29th overall pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft, and from all indications they're quite happy with the selection. Bulls GM Gar Forman recently spoke with Adam Fluck of Bulls.com about Teague, who could eventually carve out a role next season:

We were very excited Marquis Teague was still on the board. Obviously, we feel we got a real value in this pick... He gives us another guy that can break defenses down, get into the paint, and make plays for himself and others... He’s got great speed and quickness, and we think, a very, very high ceiling.

That high ceiling is definitely part of the reason that analysts are praising the Bulls for getting such solid value with the 29th pick. Most, if not all, mock drafts leading up to Thursday had Teague going before the Bulls' selection, but they were happy to capitalize on the point guard's tumble.
