NBA Mock Draft 2012: Sam Amick Mock 5.0 Has Evan Fournier To Bulls At No. 29

The Chicago Bulls hold the No. 29 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, but there will still be some talented players on the board when they are scheduled to select. After a largely unsuccessful gamble on Richard Hamilton last season, Chicago could certainly use some help at shooting guard, so it's no surprise they have been linked to Memphis SG Will Barton in multiple mock drafts over the last few days. What if Barton is off the board though?

In Sam Amick's Mock Draft 5.0 on SI.com Barton goes No. 23 to the Atlanta Hawks, and the Bulls select Evan Fournier, a shooting guard from France:

With point guard and 2010-11 MVP Derrick Rose sidelined after tearing his ACL in the playoffs, and with shooting guard Richard Hamilton showing his age (34) during an injury-filled season, the Bulls could use another scorer in their backcourt. There's no way of telling just yet whether Fournier can be the penetrating, playmaking perimeter threat in the NBA that he has been while playing in France, but he's worth gambling on here.

Be sure to watch the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 28 starting at 6:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.
