The Chicago Bulls select Kentucky shooting guard Doron Lamb with the No. 29 overall pick in the lone mock draft from David Aldridge of NBA.com. With just one day before the draft, Aldridge released his one and only mock of the year, tying Chicago to one of many sharpshooters:
Lamb is as good a shooter as there is in the Draft, and his performance in the NCAA championship game showed he can play on the big stage. The Bulls have to have as many shot-makers and/or scorers on the court as possible next season while they wait for Derrick Rose's return.
The Bulls should have numerous options for shooting, and Lamb would certainly qualify. As a sophomore at Kentucky last year, Lamb averaged 13.7 PPG while shooting 47 percent from three-point range, making nearly two triples per game.
