2012 NBA Mock Draft: Bulls Get Will Barton In Latest Draft Express Mock

After Tuesday morning's trade between the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves, in which the T'Wolves traded the No. 18 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft to the Houston Rockets in exchange for swingman Chase Budinger and the rights to Lior Eliyahu, Draft Express updated their 2012 NBA Mock Draft and projected Will Barton to the Chicago Bulls at pick No. 29. In a way, the sun and moon of the NBA Mock Draft world have aligned, because Chad Ford of ESPN also has Barton landing with the Bulls at No. 29 in his Mock Draft 9.2.

Barton scored 18.0 point per game in 2011 on 50.9 percent shooting for the Memphis Tigers, but he is only ranked as the No. 39 prospect in the 2012 draft class on the Draft Express Top-100. The most vexing thing is that Vanderbilt SF Jeff Taylor is projected to come off the board one pick earlier than when the Bulls are on the clock, and Taylor is ranked as the No. 15 overall prospect by DX.
