2012 NBA Mock Draft: SI.com Sticks With Evan Fournier To Chicago

The latest mock draft from Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated once again has the Chicago Bulls selecting French guard Evan Fournier with the 29th overall pick. Amick didn't add any new comments to his blurb on Fournier-to-Chicago in his newest version, but the appeal of the French wing is obvious.

The Bulls need scoring, plain and simple. It was an obvious need even before star guard Derrick Rose went down with a torn ACL, only compounding a issue that already needed to be addressed.

That's made it almost a lock that the Bulls use the pick on a scoring-type player assuming they keep the pick, although finding an impact player late in the first round is hard.

Fournier has good potential, though, standing at 6-foot-7 with good athleticism and smooth movement, but it remains to be seen how his game will translate on American courts.
