The Chicago Bulls are projected to select Vanderbilt shooting guard John Jenkins with the 29th overall pick in the latest mock draft from ESPN's Chad Ford. While other mock drafts have had the Bulls taking a variety of different players, Ford has had Jenkins going to Chicago for a while now.
Here's what Ford wrote of the choice:
The Bulls need a shooter and Jenkins has one of the best strokes in the draft. His super-quick release and ability to finish at the basket make him an interesting prospect here.
With Derrick Rose likely to miss most of next season, the Bulls will desperately need added firepower on offense for next season. That won't be easy to find with the 29th overall pick, but it's likely that Chicago will be targeting the backcourt.
