Derrick Rose Injury: Richard Hamilton Confident In A Speedy Recovery By Bulls' PG

Chicago Bulls shooting guard Richard Hamilton is staying positive when it comes to Derrick Rose's major knee injury; Hamilton wouldn't rule out Rose's availability on opening night of the 2012-13 regular season, though most estimates point to a much later return.

"I don’t want to say he’s out right now," Hamilton said before signing autographs at Macy’s on State Street on Thursday night. "We have a long time. Derrick is still young. He can come back faster than a lot of people expect."

"[Rose is] doing good," Hamilton said. "His spirits are good. The season still being active now, that’s hardest for everybody. Turning on the TV and you hear them talk about other teams. I know it’s hard on me. I know it’s killing him."
