At the Chicago Bulls press conference on Tuesday afternoon, the team physician, Dr. Brian Cole, updated the timeline for PG Derrick Rose's return from ACL surgery. Despite earlier reports of a 6-9 month recovery, it appears the Bulls' star will be out for as much as year:
Dr. Brian Cole estimates 8-12 months for DRose recovery.

Rose injured his knee in a non-contact hop step during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Cole did say Rose did not tear his MCL, making the pre-rehabilitation go more easily. But for Bulls fans, that is little consolation given their point guard will most likely most of the 2012-13 NBA Season.
