Bulls Vs. Knicks Final Score: Chicago Loses 100-99 In Overtime

The Chicago Bulls lost 100-99 in overtime to the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon after Derrick Rose missed a layup at the buzzer that would've given Chicago the victory. Rose also had a chance to win the game for the Bulls at the end of regulation, but the Knicks stopped that attempt as well.

This was truly a lost game by Chicago, as it seemed like the Bulls had the advantage down the stretch twice before giving up miraculous shots to New York's Carmelo Anthony. After a three-point play and a monster three-point shot helped to push the game to overtime, Anthony followed up with a layup and the game-winning three-pointer in the final minute of OT.

Overall, between the missed free throws in the fourth quarter, Rose's pair of missed game-winners and Carmelo's stunning shots, it's a tad hard to believe that the Bulls lost this game. After coming back from 21 points down in the first half, Chicago has everything going its way until the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

Anthony put up huge numbers for New York, finishing the game with 43 points on 16-of-31 shooting and seven rebounds. Rose put up 29 points while leading Chicago's impressive comeback but he was just 8-of-26 from the field and he turned the ball over eight times.
