It's Easter Sunday, so it's only fitting that, after sitting 12 straight games with a strained groin, star point guard Derrick Rose will return to the Chicago Bulls when the team plays the New York Knicks in a Sunday matinee at Madison Square Garden. Word just came down from the beat reporters that Rose will go, ending a week's worth of speculation on when the reigning MVP would return.

Rose's return is certainly a welcome sight for Chicago, but only if he's truly healthy. Since suffering the injury against these same Knicks on March 12, reports on Rose's prognosis have been mixed. Assuming Rose is pain-free and ready to go for coach Tom Thibodeau's team, it's a huge boost to get back on the floor with the postseason quickly approaching.
