Derrick Rose Injury: Bulls' PG Visits Team Practice Despite Injury

Despite tearing his ACL just two days earlier, PG Derrick Rose made his way back to the United Center on Monday. The NBA's reigning MVP dropped by the Bulls' practice on Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports, and appeared to be "in good spirits," according to SG Kyle Korver.

Rose's injury likely precludes him from the airplane ride to Philadelphia, but that does not mean the Bulls do not care whether or not he'll be rooting from the sidelines:

"We want him be around," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "As much time as he needs is fine. I don’t think he’ll be able to travel with us. But he’ll be around. And he wants to be around. He’s anxious to get around his teammates. That’s the way Derrick is. He doesn’t look back. He looks ahead. That’s a great way to be."
