Derrick Rose Injury: Bulls Star Has Torn ACL, Will Miss Remainder Of Season

Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls went down grabbing his left knee with 1:10 remaining in the fourth quarter of Chicago's 103-91 victory on Saturday afternoon against the Philadelphia 76ers in the opening game of the first round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs. The official word has come in and it's the worst case scenario for Chicago. Rose has torn his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Rose had 23 points, nine assists and nine rebounds at the time of the injury. A debate will rage whether coach Tom Thibodeau was justified in leaving Rose in the game with Chicago up 12 and barely over a minute left.
