The Chicago Bulls lead the Philadelphia 76ers 53-42 at halftime during the first game of their opening round series in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Chicago has been led by its starting backcourt of Derrick Rose and Richard Hamilton, who powered the Bulls offensively through the first two quarters.
Hamilton has 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Rose finally found his rhythm late in the second, and ends the half with 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Luol Deng has nine points for Chicago at the half.
Elton Brand leads Philly with 15 points at the half. Jrue Holiday has eight points.
