2012 NBA Playoffs Schedule: Scenarios For Chicago Bulls' First Round Opponent

The Chicago Bulls will begin the 2012 NBA Playoffs on Saturday at the United Center. After Chicago goes for their 50th win of this weird, lockout-compressed campaign on the final night of the regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, Tom Thibodeau's team will learn their first round opponent.

There's two options: the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers. Philadelphia travels to play the Detroit Pistons on Thursday, while New York goes on the road to face the NBA's worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats.

The only way the Bulls will play the Knicks is if New York wins and Philly loses.

Both lose = Chicago plays Philly.

Both win = Chicago plays Philly.

While Philadelphia's Evan Turner might have a preference, it doesn't seem like the Bulls do.
