The Chicago Bulls (42-12) sport the NBA's best record despite playing much of the 2011-12 NBA Season with a multitude of injuries. PG Derrick Rose, C Joakim Noah, SF Luol Deng and SG Richard Hamilton have all missed time during the season, but the Bulls -- who have not yet lost back-to-back games this season -- have already clinched a playoff birth.
The NBA, in response, has rewarded the team's head coach, Tom Thibodeau, with an Eastern Conference Coach of the Month award for the month of March. The Bulls went 13-3 in March, averaging 97.0 points per game while allowing only 89.6.
On March 19th, the Bulls beat the Orlando Magic 85-59, making Thibodeau -- only in his second year -- the fastest coach in NBA history to reach 100 wins.
