Wizards Vs. Bulls Score Update: Chicago Up 23-19 After 1st Quarter

The Chicago Bulls are without both Derrick Rose and Luol Deng Monday night, but they shot a solid 55% from the field in the first quarter anyway, and they hold a 23-19 lead over the visiting Washington Wizards.

They were hampered by seven turnovers in the quarter, however, and that issue has limited their opportunities to put some distance between themselves and the Wizards.

Richard Hamilton leads the way for Chicago with nine points on 4-6 shooting from the field. Carlos Boozer has six points and three boards, while C.J. Watson has three assists.

Jan Vesely has six to lead the Wizards, who shot 36.4% in the period.
