Bulls Vs. Pistons Score Update: Bulls Up 44-35 After Two

With Derrick Rose out of the line up, the Chicago Bulls have relied on their superior unity as a team to weather the storm and remain atop the Eastern Conference. The first half of Friday night's game vs. the Detroit Pistons was no different, as every player had a hand in driving Chicago to a 44-35 halftime lead.

The Bulls were lead in the half by Joakim Noah who was tops on the team with 10 points, but Carlos Boozer (nine) and Luol Deng (eight) were right on his heels. Noah also collected five rebounds, which was the second highest total in the half for Chicago, trailing Boozer's six boards. C.J. Watson led the backcourt with five points on 2-3 shooting to go along with an assist.

The Pistons were powered by Brandon Knight (10 points) and Tayshaun Prince (eight points) but only shot 36% from the field as a team. The Bulls meanwhile made 17 of their 34 field goal attempts.
