We learned on Wednesday that Chicago Bulls shooting guard Rip Hamilton was getting closer to returning from a shoulder injury. Hamilton has been out of the lineup since exiting a game against the Indiana Pacers earlier this month in the opening minute of the contest. While Hamilton's status isn't officially *official* yet, Comcast SportsNet's Aggrey Sam is hearing Hamilton will play tonight when Chicago takes on the Detroit Pistons at the United Center.
Hearing Rip is a go tonight, as expected.— Aggrey Sam (@CSNBullsInsider) March 30, 2012
You may remember earlier this season Hamilton rushed back from injury to play against the Pistons, his former team, only to miss the next eight games.
