It was the Bulls' fifth home loss of the season. The defeat drops the Bulls to 40-11 overall, while the Nugget improve to 27-23.
Point guard Ty Lawson fueled Denver throughout. Lawson finished with 27 points and nine rebounds on 11-of-21 shooting from the floor. Arron Afflalo scored 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Andre Miller had 12 points and 10 assists in the win.
John Lucas III and C.J. Watson each had 17 points for the Bulls. Kyle Korver went 4-of-4 from three-point range to finish with 14 points. Carlos Boozer had 14 points and seven rebounds on 7-of-9 shooting from the field.
