The Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic met on March 8 at the United Center, with the Magic handing Chicago its third home loss of the season. Tonight, the Bulls get another crack at Orlando and its star center Dwight Howard, only this time they'll travel to the Amway Center.
The Magic will be on the end of a back-to-back after losing in Miami to the Heat 91-81 on Sunday night. Orlando had won four of five heading into that game. The Magic's stellar recent play has put them third in the East at 29-17 overall -- Stan Van Gundy's crew currently holds a 3.5 game lead over fourth place Philadelphia.
The Bulls return to the road for the first time since March 7. Chicago is coming off a six-game home-stand, which it finished 4-2. Star point guard Derrick Rose did not play the last three games of the hand-stand due to a pulled groin, and it appears as if he will not play tonight against the Magic.
Last we saw them, the Bulls defeated the 76ers 89-80 without Rose at the United Center on Saturday night.
Game date/time: Monday, March 19, 7:00 p.m. CST
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
TV: Comcast SportsNet/TNT
