The Chicago Bulls (36-9) take on the Portland Trail Blazers (20-23) at the United Center on Friday night, but they will be without shooting guard Richard Hamilton (shoulder). According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, star point guard Derrick Rose (groin) is a game-time decision, and backup PG C.J. Watson is in the same boat. Neither Rose nor Watson participated in team shootaround on Friday morning, so both are unlikely to suit up against a Blazers team that just shipped out two of their top role players for future picks and salary cap flexibility. As for Luol Deng, his injured wrist is still bothering him. Here is what K.C. Johnson had to say, via Twitter:
Rip is out. DRose and CJ gametime but neither did shootaround so probably won't play. Lu in vs. Port. #Bulls
