Heat Vs. Bulls Final Score: Chicago Prevails Over Miami Without Derrick Rose

Can you believe this? The Chicago Bulls, without star guard Derrick Roes, just defeated the Miami Heat at the United Center, 106-102. Chicago led by as many as 17 in the third quarter, and hit a slew of clutch free throws at the end to withstand a Dwyane Wade-fueled comeback by Miami. The win improves Chicago to 36-9 overall, while Miami falls to 31-11.

John Lucas III paced the Chicago victory, somehow, some way. Lucas had scored 24 points and hit a plethora of back-breaking shots, even as Miami switched LeBron James onto Chicago's third string point guard late in the fourth quarter. Joakim Noah scored 14 points for Chicago. Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver each had 12 points for the Bulls. Luol Deng and C.J. Watson each scored 11 in the win.

LeBron James scored 35 points in the loss for Miami, but only two points in the fourth quarter. Dwyane Wade had 36 for the Heat.
