NBC Chicago has some additional details regarding the accident. According to that report, Rose's Bentley was struck by a man driving a Saturn; the man was uninjured, and Rose refused treatment at the scene.
In an email to NBC Chicago, the Bulls said that the point guard is fine.
Rose is the second high profile Chicago athlete to be involved in a car accident recently -- Blackhawks forward Jonathan Toews crashed into an elevated train post last month.
