Knicks Vs. Bulls Score Update: Chicago Leads 79-77 After Three

The third quarter between the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks was a good one: the teams combined for 59 points and there were 11 lead changes, but the quarter ends with Chicago holding a one-point lead. The Bulls will take a 79-78 lead into the fourth quarter at the United Center, even as the team plays without Luol Deng (wrist), Richard Hamilton (shoulder), and C.J. Watson (ankle).

The Bulls are being led by center Joakim Noah, who is putting together a fantastic all-around night. Noah has 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks through three quarters. Derrick Rose has 22 points for Chicago. Carlos Boozer (13 points) and Ronnie Brewer (11 points) have also helped pace Chicago's scoring.

Four Knicks have reached double-figures in scoring, led by 18 points from power forward Amar'e Stoudemire. Carmelo Anthony has 16 points and Tyson Chandler and Jeremy Lin each have 11 points for New York.
