The Chicago Bulls are playing without Luol Deng, Richard Hamilton, and C.J. Watson tonight against the New York Knicks, and through the first half, it's rather noticeable. The Bulls head into halftime down 50-48 at the United Center. As if you couldn't tell by the look on Derrick Rose's face, it's been a frustrating half.
Rose has a game-high 13 points on just 5-of-15 shooting thus far, but he's been glaring at the officials nearly every time down the court. Power forward Taj Gibson came off the bench to add seven points and seven rebounds for Chicago. Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, and Joakim Noah each have six points at the half.
Chicago is also in a bit of foul trouble. Power forward Carlos Boozer has three fouls, as does backup center Omer Asik.
New York was led by Jeremy Lin, who finished the half with eight points and five assists and just one turnover. Center Tyson Chandler has 11 points and five rebounds for New York at the half. Carmelo Anthony has eight points and five assists.
