NBA MVP 2012 Power Rankings: Rose Sticks At No. 4

In the most recent edition of his 2012 NBA MVP Power Rankings, SB Nation's Tom ZIller ranks Chicago Bulls PG Derrick Rose fourth amongst all players in the NBA. Having the fourth most valuable player in the NBA is nothing to scoff at, but it may be considered by some to be a disappointment, or a slight, considering that Rose won the award last season.

Nonetheless, Rose still has plenty of time to prove that he deserves to repeat as MVP, and ZIller still ranks him a the best point guard in the NBA, ahead of Chris Paul (at No. 5) and Russell Westbrook (at No. 10. Ziller ranks LeBron James— arguably Rose's chief rival— at No. 1 with Kevin Durant behind him at No. 2 and Kobe Bryant rounding out the top three.
