Bulls Vs. Spurs Score Update: Rose Powers Bulls To 50-42 Lead At Half

The Chicago Bulls take a 50-42 lead into halftime on the road against the San Antonio Spurs tonight behind a monster half from reigning MVP Derrick Rose. Rose went down briefly in the first quarter after bumping knees with a San Antonio player, but returned to spark a 30-point quarter for Chicago to charge ahead before the break. Rose has 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting thus far.

Rose's backup, C.J. Watson, was also instrumental for Chicago in the half. Watson has eight points and hit 2-of-3 three-pointers. Joakim Noah (eight points, eight rebounds) and Carlos Boozer (six points, six rebounds) also played well in the first half.

Danny Green has nine points to lead the Spurs. Tony Parker didn't score in the second quarter for San Antonio, but still ends the half with eight points.
