The Chicago Bulls hit the NBA All-Star break with a 27-8 record -- the second best record in the Eastern Conference -- but rumors have been flying about potential trades involving Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard and Los Angeles Lakers big Pau Gasol. Some fans have grown weary of Carlos Boozer with Taj Gibson ready to replace him, and most would be more than happy to part with Joakim Noah if it meant landing one of those impact frontcourt players mentioned above. However, Head coach Tom Thibodeau doesn't feel the same way.
He joined The Mully and Hanley Show on AM 670 on Thursday morning and told the world that he is very comfortable with the group of guys already on the team:
"I love the guys that we have," Thibodeau told The Mully and Hanley Show. "John (Paxon) and Gar (Forman,) that's their job to study the league and to see if there's anything that might help us. They do that every day. We're very pleased with the guys that we have. We believe we have the right guys that have the right type of attitude and approach. And, we feel we're deep. If nothing happens, we're good. We like the guys that we have here."
Thibs continued to bless Luol Deng, calling him "a complete player," and added that he thinks Derrick Rose will continue to get better because "not only is he a great player, he's an ever better person."
