If Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings had a hard time sleeping last night, it would be hard to blame him. In two previous matchups this year against the Chicago Bulls, Jennings has been dismantled by Bulls star Derrick Rose. Rose scored 34 in the first game on Jan. 27 in a 107-100 Chicago win, and followed it up with 26 points and 13 assists in a 23-point victory over Jennings and the Bucks on Feb. 4. Rose returned on Sunday during a win over the Atlanta Hawks after missing five games with back spasms, and, barring an unforeseen setback, should be in the starting lineup tonight against Milwaukee at the United Center.
With red hot New York Knicks surging to take a firm hold on the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee has been floundering. The Bucks have lost five of their last six games. Granted, the competition has been tough: two of those losses came to the Atlantic Division-leading Miami Heat, while two more came to the 21-12 Orlando Magic.
