Derrick Rose saw a specialist in Chicago on Monday to get his back injury checked out; fortunately for Rose and the Chicago Bulls, an MRI indicated that there is nothing structurally wrong with his back -- the injury is muscular, and Bulls GM Gar Forman called Rose "day-to-day." Forman said Rose will continue with the same treatment he had been receiving prior to the examination, and they'll just have to wait and see when he's ready to play again.
"The course of action we've been taking we'll continue with, and that is the constant therapy, the massage, and working with our medical staff," Forman said. "You don't know when it's muscular like this. It could respond overnight, it could be a couple days, you just don't know. But the positive is that the MRI was negative and structurally there's nothing wrong."
