NBA Playoff Odds: Bulls A Lock To Make Playoffs

The Hollinger company has released their NBA playoff odds for the current season. Hollinger uses a computer program in which the computer plays out the remainder of the season 5,000 times to see the potential range of projected outcomes. The results reveal the most likely win-loss record for each team -- and what the odds are for each team to make the NBA playoffs.

According to Hollinger, The Chicago Bulls are a 100% lock to make the playoffs with a projected best case record of 60-6. The Miami Heat are the only other team that is considered a 100% lock.

↵

There are three teams according to Hollinger that have a zero percent chance of making the playoffs. These teams are the New Orleans Hornets, Washington Wizards, and Michael Jordan's Charlotte Bobcats.

↵

Based on these findings, if the playoffs began today the Bulls would play the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.
