Chicago Bulls superstar and reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose is still considered day-to-day with back spasms. He sat out of Friday night's blowout win against the Charlotte Bobcats. Rose's replacement in the game, C.J. Wilson, ended up leading the team in assists for the night.

On Saturday morning, Bulls beat reporter K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reported that the Bulls had arrived in Boston and were holding a film session and walkthrough at local Division III college UMass Boston. He relayed the information that Rose was not ready to commit to playing in Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics.
The team would probably benefit from Rose's presence on Sunday a bit more than against the Bobcats, but the Celtics have been struggling as of late and are coming off a road loss against the Toronto Raptors.
