Chicago Bulls guard Marco Belinelli broke out of a shooting slump to score 23 points and help the Bulls defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Chicago Bulls guard Marco Belinelli had his best night of the season in the Bulls 95-85 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Belinelli scored 23 points in 40 minutes, both season highs for the first-year Bull.

Belinelli has moved into the starting lineup while Richard Hamilton recovers from a torn plantar fascia. Forward Luol Deng said after the game, "he's (Belinelli) been struggling a little bit finding his rhythm, and hopefully this will help him." Belinelli is averaging just 6.2 points per game with the Bulls in 16.9 minutes per game. Last season with the Hornets, he averaged 11.8 points in 29.8 minutes per game.

Coach Tom Thibodeau said of Belinelli, "I think each day and each game he's gotten more comfortable." The Bulls (9-8) hope Belinelli will only continue to get more comfortable and bring more offense to Chicago in their upcoming games. The Bulls next play the Detroit Pistons on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
