The Chicago Bulls (15-11) host the Houston Rockets (14-12) at 7 p.m. CT on Christmas Day, hoping to get back on track after losing to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. The Bulls will also be trying to end Houston's three-game winning streak.
Minus Derrick Rose this season, the Bulls have been led by Joakim Noah and Luol Deng. Deng, one of the top perimeter defenders in the league, is averaging 17.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Noah is averaging 13.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.4 steals per game.
Chicago will be getting a look at former Bulls center Omer Asik, who signed with the Rockets as a free agent in the offseason. Asik is averaging 10.6 points and 11.4 rebounds per game in an expanded role in Houston from the reserve role he played with the Bulls. Houston is led by James Harden, who at 25.6 points per game is the NBA's fourth leading scorer this season.
