The Chicago Bulls have held Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook to just 2-for-11 shooting and Luol Deng has scored 13 points, but Chicago trails Oklahoma City 48-47 at halftime Thursday.
The teams played each other evenly throughout the game. They were tied at 24 after one and the Thunder out-scored Chicago 24-23 in the second. Deng is the only Chicago player in double figures.
The frontcourt is struggling for the Bulls. Leading scorer Joakim Noah has four points. Carlos Boozer is shooting just 2-for-8 in the half and key reserve Taj Gibson has been held scoreless in nine minutes.
The Thunder have been led by Serge Ibaka, who has 15 points, three rebounds, two blocks and a steal in the half. Kevin Durant has 10 points, two steals and two blocks and Kevin Martin has scored nine points off the bench.
The Thunder are shooting 50 percent and have held the Bulls to 44 percent shooting.
