The Chicago Bulls now have to deal with an injury to Kirk Hinrich on top of the injury to star Derrick Rose. Nate Robinson will make his starting lineup debut on Monday night, and as ESPN Chicago notes, he's got a tough draw to welcome him. Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will be Robinson's assignment to start.
Robinson said that he'll have his hands full on Monday night, but that he's ready. He also noted that it's not him against Rondo, it's the Bulls against the Celtics. Still, Rondo is averaging 14.7 points and 13.3 assists this season, and when he's on, the Celtics as a whole are generally on.
It's a precarious position for the Bulls, given that Hinrich was already filling in for Rose. In essence, Rondo will be guarded by Chicago's third player down at the position, while rookie Marquis Teague is set to be Robinson's official backup. It's definitely going to be a tough one.
