Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose won't return to the court for a while as he recovers from surgery to repair a torn ACL, but he returned to television with a new commercial for Giordano's Pizza. Rose became an equity owner and national spokesman of the Chicago based pizza chain in September.
The commercial features Rose talking about how much he likes pizza. It's his favorite food and he loves it almost as much as basketball.
Rose is unable to wear any Chicago Bulls apparel in the commercial because the Bulls have a pizza sponsorship deal with DiGiorno.
Rose tore his ACL in the Game 1 of the Bulls first round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers last season. He underwent surgery on the knee on May 12, 2012. There is currently no set timetable for Rose's return. The Bulls won their season opener against the Sacramento Kings 93-87 and take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
