It wasn't the same without Derrick Rose on the court when the Chicago Bulls star missed 27 games a season ago, but it's something the team has adapted to and has accepted. Kirk Hinrich is coming in to alleviate some of the pressure, but the team has otherwise dealt with this issue enough in the past to roll with it and win games.
Still, there are plenty of things the Bulls want to try to help things move more smoothly this time around. As such, they'll likely send a lot of players on the court in the preseason in a lot of different packages and situations to see what works and what doesn't. On Tuesday, they'll get their preseason started with a game against the Memphis Grizzlies at home.
Of particular note in this first game is Joakim Noah, who is back with the team after missing multiple practices for personal reasons. He'll start in Tuesday's game with the other starters and will play roughly 7-8 minutes, according to head coach Tom Thibodeau, as noted by the Chicago Tribune.
The game is set for 8:00 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. You can watch the game on CSN Chicago, NBA TV or watch a live stream if you have the NBA League Pass.
