Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah isn't known for his offensive game, but during the off-season he spent time working out with Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in an effort to polish his post moves and expand his repertoire. But before Bulls fans get too excited about the possibilities for Noah heading into the 2012-13 NBA season, he wants to make sure that people know he won't be emulating every aspect of Kareem's game. He told ESPN Chicago:

"I worked with Kareem a couple weeks, but just because I worked with Kareem doesn't mean that I'm going to be throwing sky hooks from everywhere. But I feel like I learned a lot from him

"... But you know how it is, you work with him and obviously people think, 'He's going to come back with a sky hook,' and unfortunately it doesn't work like that. But I'll tell you what, even at 65 years old, his sky hook is still nice."

The 27-year-old former first-round pick has the passing skills to play from the high post and make a positive impact, but his lack of shooting range has held him back from truly excelling anywhere outside the paint. According to Basketball-Reference, Noah only converted 37.2 percent of his jumpshots last season (51-for-137). His accuracy on hook shots wasn't much better, as he only hit 41.7 percent of those attempts (20-for-48).

With Derrick Rose destined to miss the beginning of the season, any offensive improvement from Noah would be a big boost to the Bulls' offense.
