Bulls vs. Pacers preview: Chicago closes out the preseason

The Chicago Bulls close out their preseason against the Indiana Pacers on Friday in South Bend, Ind.

Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE

The Chicago Bulls take on the Indiana Pacers in their final preseason game in South Bend, Ind. on Friday. The Bulls and Pacers are both 4-2 this preseason and are expected to fight it out as the top two teams in the Central Division this year.

Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich, who was brought in this offseason to be the starter until Derrick Rose returns from surgery to repair his torn ACL, will be a game time decision. Hinrich strained his groin in the Bulls 94-89 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct. 23.

The Bulls waived Ryan Allen and Marko Jaric on Wednesday, meaning they will play against the Pacers with their regular season 13-man roster.

Indiana has won two straight preseason games while the Bulls are coming off three consecutive wins. Tip off will be at 6:00 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
