Adidas has released its newest version of Derrick Rose's D.Rose 3's shoes, which will be available Nov. 1, according to Comcast Sports Net Chicago.
The shoes are called "The Alternate Way Limited Edition" and feature a large tongue, a reflective Rose logo that lights up and, like all of his shoes, Rose paying homage to his family. These particular shoes have Rose's family tree, as well as a symbol of 73rd and Paulina in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago where Rose grew up.
Rose is currently recovering from knee surgery after he tore his ACL last season. It is still unclear when he'll play this season, if at all. He's out until after the All-Star break at least. Last season in 39 games, Rose averaged 21.8 points on 44-percent shooting and 7.9 assists per game. His scoring and field-goal percentage were down a bit from his MVP season in 2011, when he averaged 25.0 points per game on 45-percent shooting.
