Chicago Bulls finalize roster, waive Ryan Allen and Marko Jaric

The Chicago Bulls waived Ryan Allen and Marko Jaric on Wednesday, finalizing Chicago's regular season roster.

Mike DiNovo-US PRESSWIRE

The Chicago Bulls finalized their roster for the beginning of the 2012-13 season on Wednesday, as the Bulls waived Ryan Allen and Marko Jaric, bringing Chicago's roster down to 13.

Allen, a rookie guard out of UW-Milwaukee, appeared in only two preseason games for the Bulls, and barely received any playing time in the two contests.

Jaric last played in the NBA in the 2008-09 season as a member of the Memphis Grizzles. Jaric made his NBA debut in 2002 with the Los Angeles Clippers, and has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaric spent last season playing for Montepaschi Siena in the Italian League.

CSN Chicago Bull Insider Aggrey Sam thinks that Jaric could end up back with the Bulls sooner rather than later, but time will tell.

Chicago's final preseason game will come on Friday, when the Bulls play host to the Indiana Pacers. The Bulls will open up the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at home against the Sacramento Kings.
