Bulls forward Luol Deng will play Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. Deng didn't play in Saturday night's game against the Timberwolves after he "tweaked" his groin on Friday night against the Cavaliers. Deng practiced on Monday and said that he was feeling better:
"I came out of the game, I wasn't going to go (back) in anyway," Deng said. "So the next day we just wanted to see how would feel. And just decided that it was better to just sit down and rest it."
Jimmy Butler took Deng's place in the starting lineup, and even though he had to sit because of injury, Deng was happy to see Butler see more minutes:
"It was really good," Deng said. "It's really good. We need that. Jimmy's a big part (of the bench). We got to get him comfortable out there and just getting him running with the starting unit and the second unit, just to try to get his rhythm and everything."
