Nazr Mohammed, an offseason acquisition of the Chicago Bulls, is thrilled to be playing in Chicago. Mohammed, born and raised in Chicago, is in his 15th NBA season and with his eighth team. Mohammed is happy to be back in his town and commented on how comfortable it is to be in a city that he knows, saying, "It's a great feeling ... when you wake up and everything around you is, you feel comfortable, you've been there before..."

Mohammed signed a one-year deal with the Bulls in the offseason after spending the past season and a half in Oklahoma City. He averaged 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11 minutes per game for the Thunder last season. In Chicago he will serve as the primary backup to Joakim Noah.

Mohammed got off to a good start with the Bulls, scoring 13 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the Bulls' 92-88 preseason opening win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
