The Chicago Bulls have led comfortably throughout their Wednesday night game in Detroit versus the Pistons, and currently lead 71-58 after three quarters. Detroit, who trailed by as many as 20 points, was able to make up some ground in the third by outscoring the Bulls by three in the quarter. Even so, an easy victory for Chicago appears to be just what the doctor ordered after a tooth-and-nail win last night against the Atlanta Hawks.
Five Bulls scorers have already reached double-figures, led by Joakim Noah's 12 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting. Richard Hamilton returned from injury to get the start versus his former team and has 10 points after three quarters. Derrick Rose has 11 points and seven assists, but is 0-for-5 on three-point attempts. Taj Gibson has 10 points off the bench.
Center Greg Monroe leads Detroit with 13 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
